Weltformat Newcomer Award
Posters submitted to the Weltformat Newcomer Award Competition. My submissions were among the 20 selected to be shown at the Festival, which took place in Lucerne from the 28th of September to the 6th of October 2018. The question "Now What?" was the theme of the festival's 10th edition. The task for the contest was to visualize the concept of turning points, as in "moments of maximal tension, just before everything changes". In my posters I played with typography in a somewhat literal interpretation of the theme and experimented with motion blur and depth of field settings in a rendering of a coin flip.
